B.A.T.M.A.N Protocol Concept (2011)

Quality: 8/10 Relevance: 6/10

Summary

The BATMAN concept describes a routing approach for wireless ad-hoc mesh networks that avoids global topology recomputation by distributing next-hop information to all nodes. It uses originator messages (OGMs) with sequence numbers to flood the network selectively, enabling each node to determine its best next hop toward any destination and to form routing tables accordingly.
