PF queues break the 4 Gbps barrier
Summary
OpenBSD PF's HFSC queueing had a 32-bit bandwidth cap of about 4.29 Gbps. A patch extends bandwidth fields to 64-bit, removing the limit and fixing a pftop display bug, enabling 10G+ interface configurations. End users can configure up to 999G bandwidth; the patch is expected to be committed by March 20, 2026, with testing on -current encouraged.
