Using Blu-ray M-Disk as Backup of Last Resort
Summary
The post outlines a DIY approach to long-term data backup using Blu-ray M-Discs stored in rugged cases as a last-resort, offline archive. It covers what data to back up, how to package and seal the disks for tamper-resistance, and practical considerations like passwords and labeling. It reads as a hobbyist hardware guide rather than a formal IT strategy, highlighting physical durability and decentralization of backups.
