Skydance’s Discovery+ prices increase by up to 20 percent
Summary
Discovery+ raised subscription prices by up to 20%, with ad-free plans increasing to $12/month and ad-supported plans to $7/month. New subscribers are billed at the new rates immediately, while current subscribers receive 30 days’ notice before changes take effect. The move comes shortly after Skydance acquired Warner Bros. Discovery, though the pricing shifts were said to be planned prior to the merger, continuing a history of price increases since the service launched in 2012.
