Wayland desktop for Linux with skeuomorphic design
Summary
DEsk is a Wayland-based desktop environment for Linux featuring skeuomorphic UI inspired by iOS 6. It provides install scripts for Debian/Ubuntu/Arch/Fedora, a full desk-themed desktop experience with windows-as-paper metaphors, a drawer/dock, a bookshelf of apps, and a post box for notifications. The project emphasizes running on wlroots Wayland, supports multiple languages, and even notes that AI-assisted development was used to build it.
