Making Content from Discoverable Servers Easier to Discover
Summary
Discord is rolling out Discoverable Server enhancements to make content more findable on the open web. Starting November 16, 2026, every Discoverable Server will have a Server Web Page, potentially displaying summaries of public-channel discussions to give outsiders a sense of the community. Admins can opt channels out of web presence starting immediately, while users can control whether their messages appear on the web. Channel Summaries and Channel Messages are introduced progressively, with usernames and avatars omitted on web pages. Private servers, DMs, and group direct messages remain private, and the rollout is gradual to accommodate regional privacy rules and user preferences.
