GUI64 is a modern GUI layer for the Commodore 64 that runs on top of the built-in ROM, released in 2024 and currently at version 2.0/2.1. It provides Windows- and Mac-like interfaces, windowed file management, and drive/disk image handling on SD2IEC and Ultimate devices, with development credits to Friedrich (Fritz) Philipp (WebFritzi) and community input from Forum64.
